Sanhan: The General Cultural Women's Authority in Sanhan and Bani Bahlul District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a cultural seminar to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) for the year 1447 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar focused on three main areas. The first area highlighted the references to Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in the sayings of the Messenger (peace be upon him and his family) and emphasized the importance of commemorating the anniversary of his martyrdom and the faith-based qualities he embodied.
The second area of discussion was centered around the life and martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), detailing his efforts in confronting disbelief and injustice, his support for Islam, and his resistance against tyrants and the arrogant.
The third area discussed the significance of revisiting the biography of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), suggesting that commemorating the anniversary serves as a revival of faith, courage, and jihad against the injustice and arrogance affecting the nation and its religion in the current context.
The seminar also explored the status and position of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) among the Yemeni people, and how it influences their steadfastness, commitment to his approach, and efforts to follow his path in confronting tyranny and achieving victory for the nation.
