Sana'a: A cultural seminar titled "The Reality of Books and Intellectual Property Rights in Yemen" is scheduled to take place next Saturday, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with the General Authority for Books, Publishing, Translation, and Distribution.
According to Yemen News Agency, the seminar aims to celebrate International Children's Book Day, World Book and Copyright Day, and World Intellectual Property Day. It will cover three main topics: authors' rights and related rights under Yemeni law, enhancing the economic value of intellectual assets in the creative economy, and the role of books in the development of civilizations. Additionally, the event will feature the launch of the book "Ahazeej Al-Baraem" by poet Ahmed Al-Nazami and the "Bibliography of Yemeni Novels (1920-2025)."
