Demonstrations in Dhamar Denouncing Trump’s Insult to Mecca

Dhamar: Districts across Dhamar Governorate witnessed on Tuesday mass popular demonstrations condemning what they described as insults by the 'Zionist criminal' Donald Trump against Mecca. Participants denounced what they described as repeated and systematic insults by global Zionism and its instruments against the Holy Qur'an, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and Islamic sanctities, including the recent alleged insult to Mecca, considered the holiest site for Muslims.

According to Yemen News Agency, they strongly condemned Trump's alleged offense against the Holy Kaaba, considering the repeated insults by 'Americans and Zionists' toward Islamic sanctities a criminal act and a violation of religious sanctity, as well as a deliberate provocation of Muslim sentiments worldwide and incitement to hatred. They called on the Arab and Islamic nation to assume its responsibilities regarding such insults and to enact legislation criminalizing attacks on religions and sacred sites.

A statement issued by the demonstrations said that the Yemeni people's mass mobilization comes in response to Allah Almighty, as an act of worship and striving for His pleasure, and in anger and support for Islamic sanctities that, according to the statement, are continuously and systematically targeted by global Zionism and its 'corrupt tools,' the latest being what it described as an insult by the 'criminal Trump' against Mecca.

The statement declared the Yemeni people's rejection and strong condemnation of repeated and deliberate insults by global Zionism and its affiliates against Islamic symbols and sanctities, including the alleged insult to Mecca, described as the purest and most sacred place on earth and the direction of prayer for Muslims. It noted that such insults come amid a continuous series of attacks against the Holy Qur'an, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), and all Islamic sanctities, aiming to undermine the sanctity of religion and its symbols in the hearts of the Muslim nation, and to sever it from its sources of guidance and light, spreading misguidance and corruption.

The statement considered the Muslim world's official, popular silence and inaction as one of the main reasons encouraging the continuation of such acts. It further stated that this insult coincided with what it described as a 'historic and decisive defeat' suffered by the US and Israel in a recent confrontation with forces in Iran, Lebanon, and other arenas of what it called the Islamic front.

It also claimed that 'impure souls' involved in corruption and crime, referencing the Epstein Island scandal, cannot tolerate the sanctity, purity of Mecca, therefore seek to target and desecrate it, as well as pursue plans to control it through projects referred to as the 'Greater Israel' project. The statement affirmed that the people of Yemen remain steadfast in supporting Islam, adhering to the Qur'anic path, and raising the banner of Islam and struggle.

It concluded by praising what it described as a historic victory for the axis of resistance in the current round, forcing its opponents to retreat and back down, while warning that despite this victory, the adversary conceals intentions of betrayal, and calling for continued preparation and readiness for the next phase with determination, reliance on Allah, and confidence in Him.
