Hajjah: The Deputy Ministry of Health and Environment, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mansour, alongside Dr. Ahmed Al-Kohlani, the Director of the Health Office in Hajjah Governorate, conducted a visit to evaluate the operations at the health center in Shar's District and the diarrhea treatment center in Hajjah City.
According to Yemen News Agency, the officials were briefed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mahdali, Director of the Health Branch in Shar's, regarding the center's workflow, challenges, and necessary improvements. Dr. Al-Mansour clarified the visit's intent to assess challenges, identify medicine and supply needs, and overcome existing obstacles.
Dr. Al-Mansour and Dr. Al-Kahlani, accompanied by Issam Al-Wazzan, Director of the City District, also assessed the progress at the city's diarrhea treatment center. They received insights from Dr. Abdul-Razzaq Abu Salem, Director of the Health Branch, on treatment services, visitor numbers, and encountered challenges.
Dr. Al-Mansour reiterated the Ministry's commitment to enhancing institutional work, service quality, and health personnel capacity, with a focus on maternal and child programs. Dr. Al-Kohlani acknowledged the Ministry's support in maintaining medical services, especially amidst current national circumstances.
The discussions also covered the challenges faced by the diarrheal disease awareness team across several directorates, with an emphasis on the critical role of health education and disease prevention awareness.
