Deputy Minister of Information Evaluates Operations at Al-Thawra Foundation

Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhayti, conducted a comprehensive review of the operations at Al-Thawra Foundation for Press, Printing, and Publishing, focusing on the performance within the foundation's multiple departments.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Bukhayti received detailed briefings from Ahmed Rasea, Chairman of the Board of Directors - Editor-in-Chief, and several general directors about the administrative workflow and measures being implemented to enhance the foundation's performance. The emphasis was on improving administrative discipline and commitment across various departments.

During a meeting chaired by Dr. Al-Bukhayti and attended by the Chairman, general directors, and staff, discussions centered around the current performance of Al-Thawra Foundation. Key topics included the challenges faced in journalistic, technical, administrative, and financial areas. Dr. Al-Bukhayti reiterated the Ministry of Information's dedication to supporting employees and addressing the challenges within the limits of available resources.

He underscored the significance of collaborative efforts to uphold Al-Thawra Foundation's status as a leading national media institution. The Deputy Minister emphasized finding solutions to the challenges, ensuring the foundation can continue its media and national mission effectively.

Ahmed Rasea highlighted significant issues impacting the foundation, including limited government support and difficulties in securing printing paper due to ongoing external pressures. These challenges have affected the continuity of work and production at the foundation.

Saleh Al-Dahmali, the Director General of Printing Presses, elaborated on specific issues facing the printing operations, including the need for maintenance, modernization, and securing operational supplies to enhance efficiency and maintain production consistency.
