Sanaa: The Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, today reviewed the activity of charitable kitchens and bakeries in Al-Wahdah District of the Capital Secretariat. Dr. Al-Bukhaiti, accompanied by the District Director, Sami Humaid, listened to an explanation from those in charge of the charitable kitchens and bakeries about the meals they provide to poor and needy families within Al-Wahdah District during the holy month. According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, the Deputy Minister of Information affirmed the importance of integrating the efforts of the state and the private sector in supporting charitable kitchens and bakeries, expanding their activity to meet the needs of poor families, and embodying the values of solidarity, compassion, and cooperation among community members. He emphasized that such humanitarian works enhance solidarity and charity for the poor and needy, and support low-income families, especially during the holy month in which God multiplies the reward for those who spend, philanthropists, and those engaged in acts of righteousness. Meanwhile, the District Director and those in charge of the charitable projects highlighted the important role incumbent upon media institutions in mobilizing support for charitable kitchens and bakeries for poor and needy families, in response to the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. Additionally, the Deputy Minister of Information and the Director of Al-Wahdah District visited the Kuwait Model School, where they planted date pits at the school, as part of encouraging date cultivation and supporting the achievement of self-sufficiency. The Deputy Minister of Information called for media interaction with the date pit planting initiative and contributing to achieving agricultural development and self-sufficiency for the country.
