Sana'a: A meeting held in Sana'a brought together the Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhayti, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Expatriates Sector, Ahmed Al-Humaidi, to discuss ways to enhance and develop areas of cooperation and coordination between the two ministries.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Information praised the diplomatic and service efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in caring for the interests of Yemeni expatriates abroad. He affirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Information and its affiliated institutions to provide all forms of support and assistance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This support aims to ensure the formulation and implementation of an integrated media strategy targeting Yemeni communities abroad, contributing to delivering the national message, highlighting expatriate issues, and enhancing their active presence and continuous connection with their homeland.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs reviewed the ongoing efforts made by the Ministry's leadership to activate the media and diplomatic role directed towards Yemeni expatriates. He emphasized the importance of the media role in connecting expatriates to the homeland culturally, politically, and socially, through the production and broadcast of a series of diverse media programs on official television channels, in coordination with the Ministry of Information and relevant authorities.
