Tehran: Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, met on Sunday with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Abbas Araqchi. During the meeting, Major General Al-Ruwaishan expressed his condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Ali Khamenei. He also extended congratulations to the Iranian people on their significant victory in resisting American and Israeli forces and achieving success in diplomatic efforts.
According to Yemen News Agency, Abbas Araqchi conveyed his gratitude for the positions taken by the Yemeni government and its citizens in denouncing the American and Zionist actions against Iran. He acknowledged the solidarity shown by Yemen towards the Iranian populace. Araqchi also emphasized Iran's commitment to leveraging its diplomatic avenues to facilitate the lifting of the blockade and to fully implement the peace roadmap in Yemen.
