Sana'a: The General Mobilization of the Women's Authority in the capital Sana'a held an expanded meeting on Sunday for mobilization, cultural, social, and educational cadres, launching activities marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zayd ibn Ali, and in support of the statement of the Yemeni Armed Forces under the slogan: (Insight and Jihad).
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the plan of programs and activities for the occasion, which includes a range of cultural, awareness, and mobilization initiatives across all districts of the capital, aimed at enhancing awareness and readiness.
The head of the Cultural Unit at the Women's Authority, Hanan Al-Azi, highlighted the directives of the anniversary, stressing the importance of commemorating it in strengthening faith-based and cultural awareness, enhancing the community's role in confronting soft warfare, and connecting younger generations to the principles of Imam Zayd ibn Ali.
Speeches delivered during the meeting reviewed the biography of Imam Zayd, his positions in supporting truth, and his steadfastness on Islamic principles in confronting injustice and deviation, drawing from his life lessons of patience, struggle, and insight in times of challenge.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a stand was held in support of the statement of the Yemeni Armed Forces, expressing steadfastness in position, affirming continued support for resilience options, and praising Iranian support in breaking the blockade, within broader positions supporting the Yemeni people in facing ongoing challenges.
