According to Yemen News Agency, the event, attended by University President Ali al-Tariq, featured participants raising the Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans condemning the starvation and extermination of Gaza's population by the Israeli occupation. The event highlighted a lack of response from Arab nations and international bodies.
Participants reaffirmed their unwavering support for Gaza and its resistance, committing to assist through all available means despite existing challenges.
A statement released during the event condemned the blockade, starvation, and extermination in Gaza. It emphasized the global paradox of Gaza's prolonged siege, while ports in Egypt, Turkey, and other nations remain open to ships heading to Israel, thus supporting its economy and enabling its actions.
The statement urged these countries to make a decisive choice: transform their ports into gateways supporting Palestine or continue facilitating Israeli actions against Palestinians.
It also highlighted the need for ongoing mobilization, participation in awareness activities, and a commitment to victory.
Furthermore, the statement called on free nations globally to boycott Israel, aiming to isolate and weaken it by depriving it of resources and markets, reducing its capacity to commit crimes against Palestinians.
