Geology Branch and Local Authority in Aflah al-Sham Commemorate Imam Ali’s Martyrdom

Hajjah: The Geology and Mineral Resources Survey Branch in Hajjah Governorate, in collaboration with the local authority in Aflah al-Sham district, hosted an evening event to honor the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), as well as Al-Furqan Day and International Quds Day.

According to Yemen News Agency, Brigadier General Hassan Al-Qasimi, the Governorate Security Director, underscored the importance of remembering Al-Furqan Day and Imam Ali's martyrdom. He spoke about the spirit of jihad and sacrifice on the path of Allah, drawing from Imam Ali's sacrifices and heroism in defending Islam and Allah's support for believers during the Battle of Badr.

He also elaborated on the deep connection between people of wisdom and faith with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) and Imam Ali (peace be upon him), highlighting their special status and essential role in supporting Islam from its early days to the present.

Brigadier General Al-Qasimi described the commemoration as spiritually and educationally significant, aiming to revive the values, principles, ethics, courage, self-sacrifice, asceticism, and piety of Imam Ali.

Directors Muhammad Al-Qudami of the Geology and Mineral Resources Survey Branch and Ahmed Al-Arjali of the district emphasized Imam Ali as the epitome of a courageous, devout, ascetic, and just believer. They noted the ongoing struggle against global arrogance forces, depicting it as a decisive conflict between supporters of truth and the 'alliance of Satan,' urging readiness for potential future confrontations.

The event included a call for continued mobilization, training, and preparation, with a focus on maintaining vigilance against the nation's enemies. The gathering, which featured mineral workers, social and security figures, and district officials, was marked by discussions on following Imam Ali's example of patience, knowledge, courage, and struggle.

Mobilization Officer Mansour Al-Zaghafi and the district's Secretary-General, Muhammad Ghawth, emphasized the readiness of Aflah al-Sham's people to defend their values and support national causes under the leadership of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi.
