Dhamar: The Public Works and Youth and Sports offices, alongside the branch of the General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs in Dhamar Governorate, organized a cultural event to commemorate the Al-Sarkah annual anniversary, emphasizing resistance against foreign dominance.
According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Mohammed Abdulrazzaq highlighted that Al-Sarkah is a Quranic revivalist project aimed at challenging American and Israeli influence over Yemen and the broader Arab and Islamic regions. He stated that Al-Sarkah has empowered society, breaking the chains of fear and psychological defeat, while fostering pride and dignity. He acknowledged efforts by adversaries to suppress the slogan due to its role in unveiling and countering their schemes.
Deputy Governor Abdulrazzaq called on all entities to honor this occasion to enhance societal awareness and reinforce resistance against American and Zionist control. Director of the General Authority of Endowments Office, Faisal Al-Hatfi, remarked that Al-Sarkah has instigated a new geopolitical reality, evolving into a combat doctrine that has shifted the regional balance of power after years of American dominance.
Al-Hatfi further explained that the slogan, initiated by martyred leader Sayyid Hussein Bader al-Din al-Houthi, has developed into a defensive strategy and a steadfast political and field stance. It serves as a critical weapon for the nation, promoting unity behind the Quranic project as a means to overcome American arrogance and secure victory.
Eng. Muadh Al-Shawkani, Director of the Public Works Office, and Ibrahim Al-Banous, Director of the Land Transport Authority branch, discussed the context of the slogan's launch during the US-Israeli offensive. They emphasized that despite limited resources, the martyred leader's faith and insight restored confidence and the ability to face challenges.
The officials noted that Al-Sarkah is essential for strengthening the nation to confront its adversaries, viewing it as a comprehensive revival project representing loyalty to Allah's allies and disavowal of His enemies. They highlighted the Quranic project's role in bolstering Yemen's capabilities and supporting the Palestinian cause and the Islamic Republic of Iran within a shared destiny battle.
They concluded that the Al-Sarkah slogan has demonstrated its effectiveness in opposing the United States and Israel, asserting that those committed to this stance can shape triumphs and overcome external control. The anniversary marks a time when the Yemeni people are more resilient and empowered through their adherence to the Quranic project and faith-driven approach.
