Al-bayda: The Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, today discussed with the Executive Director of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society, Abdullah Al-Azb, the humanitarian interventions in the health sector in the governorate. The meeting, attended by the director of the Health Office in the governorate, Dr. Mujahid Al-Khatri, the Executive Director of the Society's branch in the governorate, Omar Al-Haddar, and the coordinator of formative development for the Society, Abdulkarim Al-Saloul, addressed the most prominent needs in the development and humanitarian sectors and ways to enhance partnership with the local authority to implement priority project plans in the health field.
According to Yemen News Agency, the participants approved supporting the health sector with solutions and medical supplies and initiating procedures for establishing the building of the Health Center for the Red Crescent branch in the governorate with the support of humanitarian work partners and providing emergency assistance to the governorate under the current circumstances.
The Governor of Al-Bayda praised the efforts of the Red Crescent Society in focusing on priority needs in the humanitarian and relief aspects in the governorate, affirming the governorate leadership's keenness to facilitate the work of all humanitarian organizations to expand their projects and interventions.
For his part, Executive Director Al-Azb reviewed the projects and interventions implemented by the Society in a number of fields in coordination with its branch in the governorate, the local authority, and relevant authorities, in addition to assessing the situation and working to implement future projects according to priorities.
