Funeral Procession Honors Three Martyrs in Taiz Governorate

Taiz: The bodies of martyrs Maher Ahmed Thabet Taleb, Younis Ahmed Mohammed Al-Khazoul, and Wadah Mohammed Hassan Al-Khazoul were laid to rest on Tuesday in Taiz governorate. They had fallen while defending the homeland, its sovereignty, and its independence.

According to Yemen News Agency, the funeral procession was attended by local, executive, and military leaders, as well as social figures, the martyrs' families, and their comrades-in-arms. Mourners paid tribute to the heroic feats and immense sacrifices made by the martyrs on the battlefronts of pride, dignity, and honor, as they defended the land and national sovereignty against the forces of aggression.

The mourners affirmed their commitment to following the path of the martyrs, upholding the choice of steadfastness and resilience, and continuing to reinforce the battlefronts until complete victory is achieved. They emphasized that the martyrs' blood would remain a beacon illuminating the paths of freedom and dignity, and a driving force for continuing the battle for national liberation.

Following the funeral procession, the martyrs were laid to rest at the Martyrs' Cemetery in Maqbanah district of the governorate.
