Discussion of Mechanisms to Strengthen Security and Service Measures in Tourism Sector in Hodeidah

Hodeidah: A meeting held in Hodeidah province on Monday discussed mechanisms to strengthen security and service measures in the tourism sector, contributing to supporting tourism activity and stimulating the investment environment in the province.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was chaired by the province's Security Director Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi and brought together officials from the Tourism Office, hotel and park managers, and representatives of tourism establishments. It reviewed the current situation of tourism work and ways to enhance coordination among relevant authorities to improve performance efficiency and the quality of services provided to visitors.

The discussion also reviewed the level of implementation of the previous meeting's outcomes, including steps taken to organize field operations within tourism facilities and strengthen both service and security aspects in line with the growing tourism activity in several coastal districts.

The Security Director emphasized the importance of the security role in protecting tourism facilities and ensuring the safety of visitors, providing a stable environment that supports investment and improves service quality. He also stressed the need to unify regulatory procedures within tourism establishments and adopt a unified pricing list for services, helping to regulate performance, raise service efficiency, and stabilize the tourism sector.

The meeting approved enhanced joint coordination between security agencies, the Tourism Office, and private sector representatives, contributing to establishing a safe and organized tourism environment and enhancing Hodeidah's position as a promising tourist destination along the coastal strip.
