Sanaa: A meeting held today at the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration, chaired by the Deputy Minister, Nasser Al-Mahdhar, with the presence of a number of members of the House of Representatives and Shura Council, as well as sheikhs and social figures from Al-Thawrah District in the Capital Secretariat, discussed aspects related to monitoring and implementing the Ramadan program.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which included a number of Undersecretaries of the Capital Secretariat, the Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Local and Rural Administration, Jamal Al-Alawi, and the Director of Al-Thawrah District, Aqeel Al-Saqqaf, affirmed the importance of mobilizing efforts to implement cultural activities within this year's Ramadan program, and mobilizing the community to implement developmental community initiatives, as well as cleanliness and improvement initiatives.
It touched upon the necessity of conducting field visits within the community, checking on the conditions of the poor and needy, attending to their needs, and working to meet them, in addition to carrying out acts of righteousness and charity and supporting their activities, especially charitable kitchens and bakeries.
The attendees highlighted the importance of relying on God and being guided by the directives of the Leader of the Revolution in various aspects of righteousness and charity, and in various movements in the field, proceeding according to God's guidance to ensure that work proceeds optimally.
The meeting also affirmed the necessity of carrying a faith-based spirit, urging people to benefit from the blessed month of Ramadan, intensifying cultural activities in districts, neighborhoods, and localities, with a focus on activating and implementing the Ramadan program in mosques and places of worship.
