Aslam: The Ramadan Cultural-Sports League kicked off today in Aslam District, Hajjah Governorate. Sixteen teams are participating in the sports league, organized by the branch of the Youth and Sports Office in the district and the Al-Hawari Union, as part of enhancing sports and cultural activities during the blessed month of Ramadan, and developing the spirit of fair competition among youth.
According to Yemen News Agency, the opening match, which brought together the Tadamon Aslam Al-Sham team and the Shabab Al-Amal team in front of a large audience, ended with Tadamon winning by two goals to one.
The organizing committee affirmed that the Ramadan sports league aims to invest young people's time in purposeful programs that combine sports activity and cultural dimension, and consolidate the values of solidarity, pointing out that the tournament competitions will continue according to an organized schedule until the final match.
