Bani al-harith: A meeting was held on Monday at the Bani Al-Harith Multi-Purpose Cooperative Association in the Capital Secretariat to discuss aspects related to completing the economic empowerment projects plan across the neighborhoods of the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by District Director Hamad bin Rakan, the district’s mobilization officer Mohammed Al-Gharbani, the association’s executive director Naeem Al-Halali, Bunyan Development Foundation coordinator in the district Hussein Allan, and members of the Development Knights. They reviewed the activities and tasks completed by the field teams, as well as proposed solutions to challenges encountered during the fieldwork phase.
The meeting also addressed mechanisms for activating cooperative and participatory work within the community, strengthening efforts, and coordinating among relevant stakeholders to complete the situational analysis and prioritize needs for economic empowerment projects. These projects target productive families, small and micro enterprises, supporting local products, creating jobs, and productive facilities offering quality goods at competitive prices compared to imported products.
During the meeting, the association’s Secretary-General Mohammed Abu Talib highlighted the importance of preparing a participatory development plan to achieve comprehensive developmental progress within the framework of the guidelines and action plan implemented by the field teams.
The attendees affirmed their commitment to translating the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council into action by enhancing the role of cooperative and agricultural associations. They aim to promote economic empowerment in local communities, contributing to sustainable development across sectors and achieving self-sufficiency.
