Taiz: A meeting chaired by Abdulwase' Al-Shamsi, Taiz Deputy Governor for Development Affairs, discussed ways to facilitate the implementation of a livestock breeders support project in Al-Da'isah, Al-Shahinah, and Hazran areas of Al-Ta'iziyah District.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Abdullah Al-Jundi, the province's agricultural sector official, and Abdulkhaliq Al-Junid, the district's general director. The attendees reviewed the project's components, with project coordinators and community committee representatives outlining plans to establish livestock shelters. Additionally, 300 fodder bales are set to be distributed to breeders, with each bale serving four beneficiaries.

The project also includes an awareness workshop for breeders and financial support to cover shelter needs and other supplies. This initiative aims to alleviate hardships and encourage breeders to continue their work.

Deputy Governor Al-Shamsi emphasized the importance of enrolling all beneficiary breeders in the district's cooperative association. This enrollment is intended to adopt developmental and agricultural projects through the cooperative, enhancing livestock, milk, and other product production.

The agricultural official and district director also stressed the need to finalize studies on solar energy systems. These systems are part of the economic empowerment project to ensure its success within value chains.
