Sana'a: A meeting held on Sunday brought together the Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shaiban, and the Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Mahdi, to discuss aspects of joint coordination and cooperation between the ministry and the authority. The meeting reviewed ongoing efforts to further develop the existing partnership in a way that enhances and simplifies services provided to citizens.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Minister Shaiban praised the qualitative development witnessed by the Tax and Customs Authority, particularly in public service delivery, which contributes to greater transparency in tax and customs operations. For his part, Ibrahim Mahdi affirmed the authority's commitment to expanding areas of cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Health and Environment, in a way that serves the public interest, meets citizens' needs, and improves the quality of services provided.
Both sides emphasized their commitment to advancing mechanisms and programs of partnership that effectively address the needs and requirements of citizens on the ground.
