Marib: Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim met with Marib province undersecretary Mohammed Alwan to discuss the priority road project needs of Harib al-Qaramish district. These projects aim to facilitate the movement of citizens and improve both development and services in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Minister Qahim emphasized the Ministry's commitment to meeting the governorate's road project needs. He stressed that these projects are essential service requirements that significantly improve services and development, thereby alleviating the suffering of citizens. The Minister also highlighted the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and the local authority in the governorate. He called for mobilizing community efforts to contribute to the adoption and implementation of service and development projects, particularly roads.
The Minister of Transport and Public Works pointed out several successful community initiatives and their achievements in various governorates over the past years. He emphasized the crucial role of local authorities in promoting, encouraging, and supporting these efforts. Meanwhile, Alwan reviewed the road projects currently underway in the governorate, as well as priority projects in the Harib al-Qaramish district. He commended the efforts of the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and its affiliated agencies in implementing road projects throughout the governorate.
