Bakil al-mir: A meeting was held in Bakil Al-Mir District, Hajjah Governorate, chaired by Governor Hilal Al-Soufi, to discuss mechanisms for continuing mobilization and general readiness, activating community initiatives and agricultural work, and supporting cooperatives.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the district's needs for service and development projects, including an air compressor, jackhammers, generators, water harvesting tanks, and road paving. It also discussed merging two cooperatives and completing an underground reservoir project.
The Governor stressed the importance of continued mobilization and high readiness, activating agricultural work and land reclamation, noting that the district had set a model in building water barriers despite past neglect. He promised to provide needs according to available capabilities, particularly in roads, health, and education.
