Distribution of Zakat to Needy Families in Al-Durayhimi

Al-Durayhimi:Authorities in the Al-Durayhimi District of Hodeidah Governorate initiated the distribution of 320 qadahs of millet, donated by local farmers as in-kind zakat, to support poor and needy families.

According to Yemen News Agency, the District Director, Mohammed Al-Mousawi, emphasized the significance of distributing in-kind zakat to those who qualify, and he praised the farmers for fulfilling their religious responsibilities.

District Mobilization Official, Ali Issa, highlighted that zakat fosters social solidarity and compassion, urging farmers to continue paying zakat on their agricultural produce.

District Zakat Office Director, Abduh Haimi, noted that this distribution is part of the office's ongoing programs aimed at ensuring zakat reaches its rightful beneficiaries. He expressed appreciation for the farmers' ongoing cooperation in fulfilling their zakat obligations.
