Sanaa: The Acting Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Sam Al-Bishiri, visited the Polystyrene Factory, known for its foam and insulation materials used in construction, and the Kobex Factory for water tanks, both of which are part of the Al-Kubous Group for Trade, Industry, and Investment.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, Al-Bishiri was accompanied by Mohammed Al-Farzi, Deputy of the General Authority for Investment. They received detailed briefings from the Group's Chairman, Hassan Al-Kubous, and the factory managers about the production processes and the mechanisms in place for manufacturing quality control.
Al-Bishiri commended the production levels and the high-quality products that the factories contribute to the local market. He highlighted the significance of national capital being directed towards specialized industrial investments, which support industrial localization plans and reduce the import bills. He further assured that the government and the ministry are committed to providing all necessary support and assistance to industrial projects, ensuring they benefit from the privileges and facilities outlined in the Investment Law, as well as protecting local products.
The Acting Minister also made a stop at the International Glass Company Factory, where he was briefed by the company's Chairman, Mohammed Al-Ansi, regarding the factory's operations and the variety of glass products it supplies to the local market. Al-Bishiri expressed his appreciation for the quality and precision of the factory's products, affirming the ministry's support for such specialized industries that enhance the value of their offerings.
