Inspection of Summer Activities and Courses in Al Mahwit

Al mahwit: The Deputy Governor of Al Mahwit, Abdul Salam Al-Dhimari, inspected today the progress of summer course activities in the city of Al Mahwit, as part of ongoing attention to the implementation of educational and pedagogical programs aimed at developing the capacities of youth and adolescents.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Al-Dhimari, along with the Director of Technical Education in the province, Dr. Abdul Malik Mazarik, reviewed the level of student turnout and the nature of the activities and programs they are receiving. These programs encompass scientific, cultural, religious, and skills aspects, contributing to honing their talents and developing their abilities.

The officials listened to a briefing from those in charge of the summer courses at Al-Shahid Al-Sammad Summer School about the performance level, student attendance and engagement, and the efforts made to implement the plan approved by the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities and Courses. They also discussed the difficulties facing the workflow and ways to address them.

During the visit, the Deputy Governor praised the level of discipline and the large student turnout witnessed by the summer courses in Al Mahwit city. He affirmed that these courses represent a strong fortress for youth and adolescents, contributing to fortifying them with knowledge and learning and enhancing their connection to faith identity and moral values.

He emphasized the importance of integrating official and community efforts to ensure the success of these activities, given their role in preparing a conscious and educated generation capable of facing challenges and contributing to nation-building.

Meanwhile, the Director of Technical Education, Dr. Abdul Malik Mazarik, urged students to make the most of the summer course programs and the knowledge they contain. He affirmed the importance of commitment, discipline, and acquiring various skills.

Dr. Mazarik appreciated the efforts of educational staff and field workers, and the role of parents in encouraging their children to join these important educational centers. This participation enhances their level of awareness and contributes to developing their academic and behavioral abilities.
