Sanaa: Officials, including Capital Sana'a undersecretary Dhif Allah Mohammed and District Director Sami Humeid, visited summer courses in the Unit, Maeen, and al-Safiyah districts, underscoring their influence on youth development.
According to Yemen News Agency, Capital Sana'a undersecretary Dhaif Allah Mohammed and other officials visited the summer courses at the martyr al-Sammad Center in al-Omana neighborhood. They were informed by center director Ibrahim al-Hammami about the faith-based, educational, cultural, and skill-building programs available to students. The officials commended the students' talents and the teaching staff's efforts in ensuring the courses' success.
The significance of these summer courses in nurturing a generation grounded in Quranic values and cultural awareness was emphasized by the officials. They argued that these programs offer a crucial alternative to unproductive summer holiday activities. Parents were encouraged to enroll their children in these courses to gain from their academic and religious content and to shield them from harmful ideological influences.
Meanwhile, Sami Sharaf al-Din, Assistant Deputy of the Capital Sana'a, assessed the activities at Shahid al-Islam and Humanity School in the Aser neighborhood. The school's management detailed their educational, religious, cultural, and skill-building programs designed to enhance students' capabilities.
In al-Safiyah and other districts, officials visited summer programs in the neighborhoods of al-Fath and al-Thawra, commending the organization and participation. They stressed the importance of community and governmental efforts in promoting these initiatives to protect youth from negative external influences.
Additionally, a cultural awareness session in the Unit District focused on the importance of preserving the Islamic identity to counter soft power and misleading foreign ideologies targeting the younger generation. The session underscored the necessity for communities to educate children about their religious and cultural roots to protect them from ideological threats.
