Education Announces Final Exam Results for Technical, Vocational Institute Students for Year 1447 AH

Sana'a: The Ministry of Education and Scientific Research announced on Wednesday the final exam results for students of technical and vocational institutes for the academic year 1447 AH / 2025-2026, with a success rate of 74.7%.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem al-Duais, explained in a press conference today in Sana'a that 5,261 students took the exams, of whom 3,932 passed (74.7%), 1,155 completed the requirements (22%), and 174 failed (3.3%).

He congratulated the students on their outstanding performance and success in the national technical and vocational institute examinations, praising the efforts of the supervisory, technical, and administrative committees and those responsible for administering the exams, whose contributions ensured the successful conduct of the examination process at the required level.

He encouraged students to enroll in technical and vocational institutes and take advantage of the specialized programs they offer, which will contribute to developing their skills and abilities and qualifying them professionally and technically.

For his part, Dr. Zaid al-Hadour, Undersecretary of the Secondary Education Sector, explained that the students who took the exams are affiliated with 69 technical and vocational institutes, including 42 public and 27 private institutes, distributed across 23 testing centers in 12 governorates, at three levels: technical diploma, vocational secondary school diploma, and vocational training diploma.

He noted that the number of specializations represented by the students taking the exams reached 79, encompassing health, engineering, industrial, construction, agricultural, commercial, information technology, marketing, and other fields. The number of theoretical subjects tested was 317.

Following this, Walid al-Haddaa, Undersecretary of the Secondary Education Sector and Director General of Examinations for the Technical and Vocational Education Sector, announced the names of the top-performing students nationwide in technical and vocational specializations and institutes for the academic year 1447 AH.
