Al-thawrah: Dr. Hatem Al-Da'is, Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, praised the level of student participation in the scientific and cultural competitions organized for the children of martyrs. His remarks came during the conclusion of the first stage of the scientific and cultural curriculum competitions held on Wednesday at Saba School in Al-Thawrah District for martyrs' children, which were organized over two days by the educational districts of Capital Secretariat Schools.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Da'is emphasized the importance of such competitions in fostering a spirit of healthy competition among students and motivating them to excel in their academic achievement, highlighting the attention given to martyrs' children as a tribute to their parents' sacrifices.
Meanwhile, Hadi Amar, Undersecretary of the Basic Education Sector at the Ministry, explained that the curriculum competition, held across various districts of the Amanah, involved 2,442 students. It targeted martyrs' children in Amanah Schools from sixth grade through the second year of secondary school. He noted that the first stage of the competitions was conducted at the district level, while the second stage will take place across the Capital Secretariat.
