Bani matar: The education sector in Bani Matar District, Sana'a Governorate, received today a significant donation from businessman Al-Haj Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Matari, consisting of 50 double chairs for the 21 September School and three tents for Al-Zahra Girls' School.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the handover ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research for Basic Education, Hadi Ammar, commended businessman Al-Matari for his generous contribution to the education sector. Ammar highlighted the importance of such initiatives in supporting the educational process and urged other philanthropists and businessmen to follow suit. He emphasized the role of the private sector as a crucial component in aiding the state's efforts to mitigate the challenges posed by the ongoing aggression and siege.
The Head of the Education Sector in the governorate, Talib Dahan, also acknowledged Al-Matari's contribution, emphasizing its impact on the educational process in the district's most needy schools. Dahan called on other philanthropists and businessmen to engage in supporting education, stressing that it is a collective responsibility.
Businessman Al-Matari expressed that his donation is a national duty in light of the country's difficult circumstances and aligns with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership to ensure the success of the educational process.
The Head of the Education Sector in the district, Mohammed Al-Faqih, noted the significance of this donation in alleviating student overcrowding in classrooms, further enhancing the learning environment.
