Sana'a: The Educational Research and Development Center held on Wednesday a commemorative event in the capital Sana'a to mark the anniversary of Wilayah, known as Eid al-Ghadir.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event brought together education and research officials who highlighted the religious significance of the occasion and its place in Islamic tradition. Speakers discussed the legacy of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, focusing on his leadership, justice, wisdom, and contributions to early Islamic history.
Participants emphasized the importance of promoting religious awareness, ethical values, and cultural identity, while reflecting on lessons drawn from Imam Ali's life and teachings.
The event also included remarks on the role of educational and research institutions in strengthening community awareness and fostering values of responsibility, integrity, and social cohesion.
