Dhamar:Electronic collection of Zakat revenues was launched on Monday at the Dhamar branch of the General Authority for Zakat.
According to Yemen News Agency, the initiative is part of a broader strategy to organize and standardize Zakat collection procedures through an integrated electronic system, as stated by Ali Azman, the Authority's director of development.
The new system aims to improve performance, streamline procedures, and enhance transparency and financial discipline. Ibrahim Al-Mutawakil, director of the Authority's office in the governorate, explained that it would strengthen oversight of collection operations across all branches and district offices. By providing accurate, real-time data on daily collections, the system is also expected to improve monitoring and supervision.
