Sana'a: Employees of the Slaughterhouses Office in the capital celebrated Rajab Friday on Thursday, observing the anniversary of the faith identity under the slogan: 'Faith is Yemeni, and wisdom is Yemeni.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the celebration was marked by a visit from the office director, Ahmed Idris, along with department directors and employees from the office and its branches in the districts, to the Great Mosque, the Imam Ali Mosque (peace be upon him), and al-Halqah Market in the Old City of Sana'a. These sites are recognized as significant Islamic historical landmarks connected to the faith identity of the Yemeni people.
Participants expressed pride in their faith identity and the anniversary of their embrace of Islam, which was in response to the message of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family), conveyed to Yemen through his envoy Imam Ali (peace be upon him). They also underscored the notable historical roles of Yemenis in supporting Islam, its sanctities, and the causes of the Islamic nation.
Ahmed Idris emphasized the importance of commemorating this religious and historical occasion to strengthen adherence to Islam and the faith identity of the Yemeni people. He also stressed the renewal of commitment to follow the Qur'anic path in confronting adversaries of God, Islam, and Muslims.
Idris highlighted the necessity to entrench the faith identity and translate it into supportive actions for Gaza and the Palestinian people, defending the causes and sanctities of the Islamic nation, enhancing faith-based and struggle-oriented awareness, and confronting the schemes of enemies and their agents.
