Dhamar: The office of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance in Dhamar Governorate today launched a project to honor and host the wounded and disabled victims of the aggression, in coordination with the Wounded Foundation and the Future of Yemen Association.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Governor of Dhamar, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, emphasized the significant sacrifices made by the wounded and disabled in defending the homeland. He described them as symbols of steadfastness and dignity, referring to them as "living martyrs" whose sacrifices allow Yemen to live with dignity and honor.
Governor Al-Bukhaiti stated, "We do not see in you wounds or disability, but rather we see in you projects of martyrdom, and living witnesses to the atrocity of the aggression and the greatness of Yemeni steadfastness. Your pure blood and great sacrifices were the rock on which all the conspiracies hatched against our dear homeland shattered."
He further highlighted that the contributions of the wounded and disabled extend beyond military confrontations. They play crucial roles in educating society about the aggression and its objectives, enhancing public awareness through their heroic stories and sacrifices.
The governor explained that the resilience and patience demonstrated by the wounded serve as a moral incentive for society, fostering a spirit of resilience and support for the frontlines. This also aids in thwarting schemes that aim to tear the social fabric and incite conflicts.
Governor Al-Bukhaiti also noted the local authority's commitment to caring for the wounded and disabled, viewing it as a national and moral duty. He acknowledged their sacrifices as a source of pride and honor for all Yemenis, which will continue to resonate in the conscience and memory of society.
