Hodeidah: The local water and sanitation corporation in Hodeidah Governorate has received a significant donation of 50,000 liters of diesel fuel. The donation, valued at 24 million riyals, was provided by the Thabet Brothers Group. This initiative is part of efforts to ensure the continued provision of water services to residents in the area.
According to Yemen News Agency, the diesel fuel donation is crucial for maintaining the operation of water wells and the pumping system, especially in light of the cessation of fuel support from international organizations. During the handover ceremony, Mohammed Halisi, the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, commended the Thabet Brothers Group for their sustained support of service sectors in the governorate. The contribution is seen as vital to bolstering the water corporation's ability to serve the community effectively.
