Sana'a: On June 1, airstrikes and shelling by American-Saudi-Emirati coalition forces resulted in numerous casualties across several Yemeni provinces. Initial reports indicate that dozens of civilians were killed or wounded due to extensive aerial bombardments and artillery fire. According to Yemen News Agency, on June 1, 2015, airstrikes targeted multiple districts in Sa'dah province, resulting in the death of two women, one pregnant, and five others, with ten additional injuries. The attacks included significant bombardment on Al-Khafji area, Sahar district, and various other regions, causing widespread destruction and civilian casualties. Further airstrikes were reported in Taiz, Ibb, and Amran provinces, affecting residential areas and public infrastructure, including schools and hospitals. In 2016, similar aggression continued with five airstrikes in Marib province's Sarwah district, where artillery shelling also targeted local areas. The following year, 2017, saw an escalation with 15 airstrikes on Ha jjah province and additional strikes in Marib, causing further devastation. By June 1, 2018, the aggression resulted in one woman's death and injuries to a couple in Sa'dah province due to Saudi rocket and artillery shelling. The violence extended to Amran and Hajjah provinces, with more airstrikes reported. In 2019, civilian areas in Taiz and Al-Hudaydah provinces were heavily targeted, leading to injuries among civilians, including children, and damage to residential neighborhoods. On June 1, 2020, airstrikes intensified with 26 airstrikes in Marib and multiple strikes in Sa'dah and Al-Jawf provinces. The attacks also targeted Al-Hudaydah with artillery shelling, causing significant damage to public and private properties. The following year, 2021, saw continued hostilities with artillery shelling in Sa'dah province, resulting in three deaths, including an African migrant. Airstrikes also targeted Al-Jawf and Marib provinces, contributing to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen.
