Sana'a: European stocks rose on Wednesday, led by gains in the technology and defense sectors, after US inflation data strengthened expectations that the Federal Reserve would cut interest rates. The pan-European STOXX 600 index climbed 0.4%, while Germany's DAX rose 0.6% after declining in the previous session. According to Yemen News Agency, Wall Street closed at record highs, with traders now pricing in a 94% chance that the US Federal Reserve will cut interest rates in September. This anticipated move by the central bank follows recent economic indicators suggesting a more accommodative monetary policy to support growth.
