Al-hodeida: The local authority and the General Mobilization in Al-Luhayyah District, Al-Hodeida Governorate, organized a cultural evening commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and complete peace be upon him and his family) for the year 1448 AH.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the evening, the Commander of the Northern Axis, Major General Fadel Al-Dhayani, affirmed that commemorating the Mawlid renews the nation's knowledge of its Messenger, and places his biography and his stances in confronting injustice and tyranny before the generations as a practical approach to steadfastness, upholding truth, and shouldering responsibility.
He pointed out that the greatness of the occasion is manifested in its connection to the message brought by the Greatest Messenger, foremost among which is the Holy Quran. He explained that campaigns of insult to the Book of God target the nation's identity and the source of its guidance, and that confronting this insult begins with adhering to the Quran and strengthening its presence in the life of society.
Al-Dhayani noted that commemorating the Mawlid under the siege, the systematic economic war, and the plundering of the country's wealth reflects the Yemeni people's adherence to their right to freedom and independence. He affirmed that the criminality practiced by the Saudi enemy aims to subjugate the country and keep it under guardianship, and that steadfastness in facing that embodies aspects of loyalty to the Greatest Messenger and adherence to his message.
The evening, attended by a gathering of leaders, officials, a number of scholars, sheikhs, dignitaries, notables, tribal leaders, educators, directors of executive offices, social figures, and mobilization officials, featured diverse chanting segments.
