Ibb: A broad meeting of residents of Al-Radmah District in Ibb Governorate was held on Thursday, chaired by Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi and attended by Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah, to discuss preparations for participating in the central event marking the Prophet Mohammed's birthday, as well as coordination among official bodies and community groups to ensure organized preparations and effective participation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by Deputy Head of the Security and Intelligence Service Major General Abdulqader Al-Shami, Shura Council members Zayed Al-Riyami and Abdullah Al-Farah, Presidential Committee members Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum and Abdulraqib Al-Sharmani, Assistant Commander of the Fourth Military Region Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Khaled, and the governorate's General Mobilization official Abdul Fattah Ghallab, reviewed the field-outreach plan and mechanisms for unifying efforts. The focus was on strengthening coordination between official and community bodies to ensure the success of preparations and participation in the central event.
The meeting also covered the challenges facing the country, ways to strengthen resilience and steadfastness, and proposals to enhance preparedness and coordination in the coming period. Minister Al-Saadi emphasized that commemorating the Prophet's birthday represents an important spiritual and educational occasion from which generations can draw valuable lessons. He urged the people of Al-Radmah to use the occasion to deepen awareness and strengthen their connection to the Prophet's message, translating its values into conduct and practice within society.
He highlighted the importance of thorough and organized preparations, integrating the roles of official bodies, community leaders, and social figures to ensure broad and dignified participation. Al-Saadi praised the efforts of Ibb Governorate's leadership in organizing the events and strengthening social cohesion, while commending the residents of Al-Radmah for their active presence and sense of responsibility.
Governor Salah stated that Ibb and its districts were continuing preparations for active participation in commemorating the Prophet's birthday, describing it as an occasion that strengthens social cohesion and reinforces faith-based identity. He stressed that the success of the central event requires coordinated official and popular efforts, stronger coordination among various bodies, and an active role for community leaders, dignitaries, and district residents.
Shura Council member Al-Riyami emphasized the Yemeni people's deep attachment to Prophet Mohammed and their adherence to their religious and moral values. He highlighted the importance of broad popular participation and well-organized preparations.
The governorate's General Mobilization official stated that the field-outreach plan aims to strengthen communication with residents, mobilize resources and efforts, and ensure the success of the central event. Organized work and community cooperation are essential to completing the required preparations on time.
Presidential Committee member Abu Lahoum stressed the importance of completing field preparations according to a clear, coordinated program and addressing any difficulties that could affect the preparations. He praised the level of interaction shown by residents.
The participants expressed their support for the meeting's outcomes and readiness to contribute to the success of the central event, affirming that the people of Al-Radmah would continue their organized preparations and broad participation in commemorating the Prophet's birthday, promoting values of solidarity, cooperation, and steadfastness.
