Sana'a: The Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment in Ibb Governorate organized a ceremonial event marking the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). The event was attended by Ahmed Al-Nazili, head of the parliamentary bloc in the governorate, and Nabil Al-Hubaishi, member of the Shura Council. Governor Deputy Qassem Al-Masawi emphasized the importance of celebrating this occasion, highlighting its reflection of Yemenis' bond with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Masawi condemned the ongoing acts of genocide committed by the Israeli enemy against the people of Gaza and its attacks on civilian facilities in the capital, Sana'a. He affirmed that these Zionist raids would not deter the Yemeni people from supporting the Palestinian cause and celebrating the Prophet's birthday.
Hussein Sharif, head of the Economy, Industry, and Investment sector in the governorate, stated that celebrating this religious occasion stems from the spirit of the Qur'anic project and reflects Yemenis' love for and connection to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). He noted that Yemenis are among the foremost in the Muslim world in commemorating the birth of the Messenger of humanity, urging widespread participation in the central celebration to crown the series of festive events.
Nabil Al-Murtada, Director of the Governorate's Office of Social Affairs and Labor, added that commemorating the Prophet's birthday irritates the enemies and hypocrites, as it revives and embodies the Prophet's teachings and encourages following his path in all aspects of life. He also highlighted the Prophet's leadership, which changed the course of history, established justice and mercy, and spread Islam worldwide.
Cultural activist Mohammed Al-Kubsi spoke about the humiliation and subjugation suffered by the Muslim Ummah, particularly the people of Gaza, due to their deviation from God and His holy book. He stressed the need for a sincere return to the Prophet and following his example in defending the oppressed.
