Al-marawah: On August 26, 2025, the Tax Office and the Executive Unit for Real Estate Revenue in Al-Marawa'ah District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, held a commemorative evening for the Prophet Muhammad's birthday under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, District Director Abdullah Al-Marouni highlighted the significance of the Prophet's birth as a turning point in human history that opened the doors of mercy, justice, and guidance. He praised the large turnout as proof of Yemenis' deep connection with the Prophet and their enduring role as defenders of his message.
Sheikh Mousa Muafa, from the Scholars and Educated Unit, stressed that celebrating the Prophet's birth is celebrating the light that removed ignorance, criticizing those who oppose such commemorations while staying silent about crimes in Gaza.
Abdulrahman Sharqi, Director of the Real Estate Revenue Unit, affirmed that the Prophet's message remains eternal, and that the occasion honors the birth of humanity's moral guide and exemplar of mercy and justice.
The event, attended by officials, clerics, and community figures, featured poetry recitals and a theatrical performance.
