Sanaa: The General Secretariat of the National Population Council organized today a speech event commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (may the best prayers and complete peace be upon him and his family).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, the Secretary-General of the National Population Council, Dr. Ahmed Bourji, emphasized the importance of celebrating the Mawlid al-Nabawi in a manner befitting the status of the Greatest Messenger in the hearts of Muslims and Yemenis. He stressed that this celebration strengthens the connection to the faith-based identity that has distinguished the Yemeni people throughout history, through their adherence to the Greatest Messenger and following his path and biography.
Dr. Bourji affirmed the nation's need to return to God and the noble Messenger (PBUH) and emulate his morals and attributes. He underscored the importance of increasing community awareness about the significance of celebrating the birth of light and utilizing the occasion to enrich themselves with Muhammadan values and principles.
The event, attended by general directors and department heads at the General Secretariat, featured a poetic recital and expressive segments.
