Hajjah: An event was organized in Hajjah governorate by the offices of the Endowments and Zakat Authorities, the Guidance Sector, and the branch of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Zaid (AS).
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Mohammed Ayshan, the Director of the General Endowments Authority Office, highlighted Imam Zaid's leadership in confronting injustice and tyranny. He discussed aspects of Imam Zaid's life, emphasizing his piety and strong connection with the Holy Quran. Ayshan also pointed out the objectives of Imam Zaid's revolution, which aimed to raise awareness, break stagnation, and resist submission to tyrants and enemies of the nation.
Abdulaziz Al-Warfi, Deputy Director of the General Zakat Authority Office, stressed the importance of following Imam Zaid's path in his revolution, methodology, morals, and movement in the cause of Allah. He emphasized the lessons from the revolution of the "Ally of the Quran" in correcting misconceptions and inspiring the nation to stand against oppressors, regardless of circumstances.
Cultural activist Hussein Al-Ayani underscored the significance of commemorating the anniversary, highlighting the ongoing impact of Imam Zaid's legacy in Islamic history and the Muslim community. He noted that the Yemeni people honor this occasion by expressing their adherence to the true faith-based path, the methodology of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), his household (Ahlul Bayt), and the guiding scholars.
