Sana'a: Secretary-General of the Ibb Local Authority Amin al-Warafi met with the committee assigned by the Ministry of Finance to discuss the mechanism for conducting financial and technical reviews of local authority projects, including development, service, and agricultural projects executed through the local authority and the Agricultural and Fisheries Funding Unit in the governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting included Province Undersecretary Abdulwahid al-Marwani, Mohammed al-Shabibi, members of the Finance Ministry committee, and directors of executive offices. The discussions explored ways to ensure the committee's success in carrying out its financial and technical auditing duties for all projects in the governorate.
Al-Warafi emphasized the importance of the review and evaluation process in promoting transparency and accountability. This process is aimed at improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
He stressed the necessity for joint efforts to achieve the goals of the financial and technical review of all projects in the governorate. This initiative is expected to contribute to sustainable development and fulfill citizens' aspirations for improved project implementation.
