Hamdan: The Local Council and Mobilization in Hamdan District, Sana'a Governorate, organized a speech event today commemorating the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and International Quds Day under the slogan "By the Lord of the Kaaba, you have succeeded."
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by the District Director, Fahd Atiya, and the Mobilization Official in the district, Mohammed Al-Shuwai. Cultural activist Hamdan Askar spoke on the virtues of Imam Ali and his role in confronting the tyrants of Quraish, supporting the Messenger, and Islam. Askar highlighted Imam Ali's status in Islam, his decisive stances, and his courage in significant battles such as Badr, Khaybar, and Al-Khandaq.
Askar noted that commemorating the anniversary alongside International Quds Day serves as a faith-based station to evoke the spirit of jihad and martyrdom in the cause of God. It is also a moment to renew allegiance to God, His Messenger, Imam Ali, the Ahl al-Bayt, and the flags of guidance.
Cultural activist Ibrahim Al-Obaidi emphasized that the joint commemoration is crucial for affirming support for the Palestinian cause and opposing the forces of global arrogance. He stressed that this exceptional stage embodies the meanings of faith, sacrifice, jihad, and steadfastness against enemies, including America and Israel. Al-Obaidi called for enhancing awareness within society, especially among scholars, to expose enemy schemes and prepare for confrontation and victory.
