Sana'a: A field committee from Sana'a Governorate, led by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abdulqadir Al-Jilani, conducted a field visit to Nihm District to assess the workflow of executive and service agencies and evaluate their performance.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee consisted of directors from various offices, including the Works Office, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, the Health and Environment Office, the agriculture sector, and the education sector. Committee members from the Finance Office, Civil Service Office, Planning Sector, Initiatives, and Financial Resources also participated. Their tasks commenced with visits to administrative offices and service facilities in the district.
The committee reviewed initial reports on achievement levels over the past period, assessed work plans, and examined adherence to administrative and technical procedures. They also listened to explanations from District Director Abdul-Wali Sarhan, Local Secretary of the District Yahya Al-Adhari, and directors of executive agencies regarding completed tasks, urgent work requirements, and obstacles to service delivery.
The success of executive agencies in performing their duties was highlighted as key to developing local work. The committee chairman emphasized the governorate leadership's dedication to enhancing field supervision to ensure improved performance and increased institutional efficiency across the districts.
He noted that the visit is part of a broader plan to address irregularities and assess discipline and task commitment across all districts. This field visit aligns with the goals of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the government to enhance the performance of executive agencies.
Al-Jilani mentioned that a report will be prepared outlining technical and administrative observations and practical recommendations. This report will be submitted to the governorate leadership for appropriate measures, aiming to improve service levels and meet citizens' needs in the future.
Meanwhile, the District Director confirmed the Local Council's cooperation with the committee, emphasizing that raising service levels and improving executive offices' performance are priorities for the council's leadership.
