Al-hodeidah: Governor Abdulwahid Salah chaired a meeting on Monday in Ibb to finalize arrangements for the basic and secondary certificate exams for the 1447 AH academic year and the launch of summer courses. The meeting reviewed the readiness of exam centers, security measures, and coordination between authorities to ensure smooth exams. Officials also discussed the organization of summer school activities alongside the exam schedule.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah emphasized the importance of cooperation among all parties to support the educational process and ensure students can take exams in a proper environment. He praised the dedication of teachers and educational staff, noting Ibb's strong performance in national exams in recent years.
Mobilization Officer Abdulfattah Ghallab and Education Sector Director Mohammed Al-Ghazali highlighted the role of summer courses in developing students' skills, knowledge, and cultural and religious identity.
Director of Examinations Abdulmajid Al-Dumaini reported that 51,850 students are registered for the basic certificate exams in 382 centers, and 37,346 for the secondary exams in 230 centers, with all technical and organizational preparations completed.
The subcommittee confirmed that exams will proceed as scheduled, in parallel with the start of summer courses across the governorate.
