Sana'a: The Yemeni Ministry of Finance launched a five-day training course on "Strategic Planning as an Entry Point for Implementing Program and Performance Budgeting" for the fiscal year 2027, with the participation of 120 trainees from cleanliness funds and government units.
According to Yemen News Agency, the course aims to enable participants to understand the relationship between strategic planning and program budgeting, and to equip them with the skills to prepare applicable strategic plans.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the transition to this type of budgeting enhances transparency and oversight, achieves institutional goals, and stressed the importance of planning as an institutional practice.
