Sanaa: The Ministry of Finance organized a speech event to mark Al-Sarkah annual anniversary against the arrogant powers. During the event, attended by Deputy Minister of Finance Nasser Al-Hamdani, ministry undersecretaries, and employees, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry for the Organization Sector Walid Fayea affirmed that the martyred leader, Sayyed Hussein Bader al-Din Al-Houthi, launched Al-Sarkah slogan at a time when the world was characterized by absolute American dominance and a state of fear and submission that prevailed among Arab and Muslim leaders following the September 11 events.
According to Yemen News Agency, Fayea pointed out that the objective of the Scream was to break the barrier of silence and move from a state of 'no stance' to one of active stance in confronting American hegemony, which used the 'war on terror' as a pretext to target Islam and Muslims.
Fayea noted that the slogan is not merely words, but rather a title for the Quranic project and carries a vision for confronting enemies and building the nation. He added that it was accompanied by an explicit call to boycott American and Israeli goods.
He explained that the martyred leader considered the boycott weapon as a means of striking the enemy at the heart of its homeland due to its impact on its economy, noting that the slogan also works to protect society from infiltration attempts by hostile intelligence agencies.
He stressed that adherence to the Quranic project has given Yemenis the ability to take courageous positions, foremost among them supporting Gaza and the causes and holy sites of the nation.
