Fireworks Illuminate Sana’a and Provinces in Yawm al-Wilayah Celebration

Sana'a: Fireworks lit up the sky of the capital Sana'a and the provinces on Wednesday evening, celebrating the anniversary of the Day of the Guardianship (Yawm al-Wilayah) of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, the fireworks, launched simultaneously, formed a light display carrying the meanings of loyalty, joy, and delight at the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah, and the status this occasion holds in the hearts of Yemenis and their deep historical connection to Imam Ali bin Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

This light celebration was followed by citizens who went out to squares, streets, public places, rooftops, and highlands to document this unique celebratory scene.

The launching of the fireworks is part of the Yemeni people's commemoration of the anniversary of the Day of the Guardianship of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), affirming adherence to the principle of guardianship (wilayah) of God, His Noble Messenger, and Imam Ali, and consolidating the faith-based identity.

During these days, the Capital Secretariat and the provinces are witnessing wide and diverse popular celebrations rejoicing in the anniversary of Yawm al-Wilayah (Ghadir Day), painting a faith-based picture and renewing sincere loyalty and allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali.
