Hajjah: The first orientation workshop for sons of martyrs and missing persons in Hajjah and Hodeidah, who have recently graduated from basic education, concluded in Hajjah Governorate. The event spanned two days and was orchestrated by the Martyrs' Families Care Authority in collaboration with the governorate's education sector.
According to Yemen News Agency, the workshop aimed to increase awareness among the sons of martyrs and missing persons about the significance of education, the continuation of their studies, the maintenance of academic excellence, and the avoidance of school dropouts. The closing ceremony featured prominent figures such as Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Soufi, and Mobilization Official, Hammoud Al-Maghribi, who highlighted the workshop's importance as a reflection of leadership's dedication to the sons of martyrs who have sacrificed for the defense of the homeland.
Both Al-Soufi and Al-Maghribi reiterated their commitment to supporting all efforts that serve the sons of martyrs, viewing them as a trust that necessitates full care and support. They encouraged the sons of martyrs to concentrate on academic success, pursue higher education, and continue their educational journey with determination, setting a standard for dedication and perseverance in the pursuit of knowledge.
The closing event was attended by several dignitaries, including Jamal Al-Alawi, Director of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development; Abdullah Shaim, Deputy Mobilization Official; and Ali Al-Qutayb, Head of the Education Sector. Directors of the Martyrs' Families Care Authority branches in Hajjah, Motahar Safi Al-Din, and Hodeidah, Ali Al-Shathami, underscored the workshop's role in identifying the interests, talents, and abilities of the sons of martyrs, guiding their future educational paths.
Ashraf Al-Ezi, Deputy Director of the Authority's branch in the governorate, noted that the Authority, in conjunction with the education sector, has a follow-up program planned to support the sons of martyrs until their university graduation.
